Very nice Gail. I really like the way you have treated the background, it pushes the flower forward and adds a good dynamic.

A very dynamic closeup . We have several of these Bearded Iris's , this shot makes me want to have a closer look at them . ( they aren't in bloom yet ) . Regards , Bill

Beautiful colors. Very nice post processing. Like the purple and yellow with violet on the background. I would have not expected the colors to work so well.

I don't know if you have seen these Iris's before.  Most of ours are in the Mauvy/purple ranges, with yellow centres.  Some are so deep they seemt o be a navey blue, but are most striking as they have yellow in the petals as well.  Thankyou so much for your kind remarks, Sincerely, GAil.
