While looking for Gnomes

I don't see any gnomes but I do see a majestic miniature waterfall, Jim.  You had masterful command of the lighting here.

Brilliant golden light and detail coupled with  the perfect shutter speed to smooth out that waterfall.

This is a challenging image but very refreshing for you.  A lot of your images are in the Great WIDE OPEN SPACES . This shot has you in a more private and enclosed setting as you search for your Gnomes.

Your editing is very well done considering the low lighting, but it's quite beautiful in all the areas where the sunligtht is filtering through the trees and lights upon the forest floor and especially the waterfalls.  Well done.  Thankfully I can see that you didn't get lost whilst searching for your Gnomes.  One hint though, you may find that many have left the forest for the season as you will see them  popping up in many garden in the cities.  I must say, the forest seems to suit them much better.  Cheers, great work, Gail

The colors in this photo are so soft with the  highlights of the sun filtering though perfectly.  I would love to hang this on my wall.  Great job.
