alfbailey 3 Posted April 19, 2010 I like the effect you have achieved here, the image has the look of an engineering specification drawing from an old parts manual, now thats not intended to sound uncomplimentary, quite the contrary, I think it's a great shot with a lot of character. I'd be interested to know what machine it is though?Kind RegardsAlf Link to comment
wogears 186 Posted April 19, 2010 Fantastic processing on this--I'm curious about the identity of the machine myself. Link to comment
jtipton 0 Posted April 20, 2010 Hi Alf and Lee,Thanks for the comments. This is a gear that opens and shuts an old irrigation ditch. Built in the very early 1900's. The ditch is gone and this is all that remains. Best wishes to you both.-Jim Link to comment
elportebonheur 0 Posted April 20, 2010 Remarkable final result again, Jim. I really like the technique you apply to your recent works. Nice 'technical drawing' indeed. Compliments! Link to comment
knobby6 1 Posted April 20, 2010 Amazing, some of the technology that has fallen along the wayside as we advance. Seems like an overkill just to open and close an irrigation ditch. Your PP is fitting for this image. Link to comment
