whoz_the_man_huh 0 Posted March 28, 2010 Nice old beaters, Jim. I like the grid pattern you applied to the image. The lines suit the foreground truck especially well. Link to comment
elportebonheur 0 Posted March 28, 2010 Very well captured, Jim, texture and colors included. ( I wonder if this is a scrapyard...:) Link to comment

alfbailey 3 Posted March 30, 2010 Heaps never looked so good, great PP work and perspective, I've always had the desire to come across old cars with this kind of character I've even thought of the title for the image "Rust In Peace" : - ) Nice work Jim! Regards Alf Link to comment
jtipton 0 Posted March 31, 2010 Thanks to all who commented and rated. Much appreciated. Did a little research and the truck in the foreground is a 1946 Ford pickup. The truck in the background is a 1955 Ford F100 pickup. Best wishes-Jim Link to comment
GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted March 31, 2010 Nice shot Jim and well presented..I love these old 'heaps' of rust...they have so much character........textures and wonderful colors......I just never seen to come across any.....will have to take more drives down back roads this summer......well done! (This one really deserved a 7...I should have waited and like Tony marked my calendar. Love this processing.....) Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted April 7, 2010 One of the best i have seen of this genre - I will have to mark my calendar to give you a 7/7 on this. Perfect composition IMHO - i like blue fence/sticks at the bottom left and they balance with the blue sections of the hood. The grid lines are almost imperceptible and I like them and perhaps they will grow on me and I will love them. All the very best. Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted April 30, 2017 Hello - I started reviewing the thumbnail images and I chose this one. I am not surprised that I thought highly of it back in 2010 and I still like it. The composition, colors and treatment are still appealing to me. I am still trying to navigate this new site but I need to give it a chance since I have only been on it for a couple of weeks. ll the very best, Link to comment
