The big question ….did you find the gold, it looks like there are a few footsteps through that field. A beautiful image Jim, well presented!

Take care, Pamela

A really nice composition taking full advantage of the beautiful light, the textures and shapes of the corn field, ending in the double rainbow.

Great Shot Jim!

I hope you can soon stop chasing that rainbow....and find your Pot of Gold ! We've really missed your presence here Jim....but for now I won't scold you too much....only because as you were chasing down this one....you got a fantastic capture.

Love the 'freshly mown' lines within the 'greens' ....leading us to that rainbow...perfect timing.....'you were truly in your field"...........and did a wonderful job. Nice to see you have the opportunity to post....your Eagle was getting awful lonley. Welcome back!........sincerely, Gail

Thanks to all my friends for the kind comments.

This was from one of those magical days when there was so many good opportunities for a shot. The Palouse is still in it's winter slumber, but this makes me anxious for the return of warmer weather and the summer storms it brings. Thanks again to all that commented and rated. Best wishes-Jim

You know how much I love the Palouse! In my opinion EVERYone who visits there gets the pot of gold! You've really got a gem here, Jim. Great work, and I'll repeat how nice it is to have you back in the community! Although we're rehabbing a house and have a bunch of other stuff going on, so I'm not on much these days myself.
