JimCowan 0 Posted March 2, 2010 Your photo is made up of rather unusual and beautiful shapes, it is these varied shapes as well as the lovely soft tones that makes this a winner. Very nice! Jim Link to comment

pfranklin 0 Posted March 2, 2010 Thank you all for the kind comments on “Pink”, I appreciate your taking the time to leave some words! This was a day long project for me and not my typical flower shoot. I actually ended up with quite a few good images and will likely post some more later. The background is a piece of glossy grey-blue paper set up next to a window with bright sunlight; I used shades to direct the light where I wanted it. The flower was sitting on a mirror with another mirror opposite the window to bounce the light and for a couple hours the most amazing colors were reflecting onto the flower. This was a fun thing to try…I was also shooting water drops….not sure yet how I like those but do have some more ideas for another try at it ;) Warm regards, Pamela Link to comment

Wayne Sadler 570 Posted March 31, 2010 Wonderfully creative piece. Your lighting has created a flower that feels effulgent and would seem ephemeral to disappear in the next breeze if not anchored by the grey of the background. You achieved a great work in this piece. Congratulations. Link to comment
