Slightly larger than the lakes in the UK Lake District : - ) Beautiful ethereal light reflections, I'm quite suprised at how calm it is I have always thought of The Great Lakes as being more like sea's with large waves.

Alf, thanks for visiting & your comments, much appreciated.Yes, it's slightly bigger than your lakes,staight across from here to the US shore is 50 miles & has a length of approx 200 miles.it is not considered a particlarly dangerous lake. Lake Superior is the largest & deepest while Lake Erie is the shallowest,both of these lakes can be dangerous. Best Regards-Ross
