Just a sign, but with a lot of presence! Great bright sky vs. the rusty form, that accentuates the time pass.As usual you see well the history of what is around you, and create a good expression of it in your photography style.

I hope you are well.

Another find in your curio shop of Americana. The tangerine sky takes this in a different direction, less nostalgic and more eccentric.

I have this thing for old signage and you captured this fading beauty very well.

One of your better recent works, Dave. The sky adds so much to this pageant of things come and gone. This sign, which must have been quite a beauty in its day, pursued by many eager admirers, who told what lies, practiced what deceptions, and broke how many hearts to get to her, and who, once there, performed who knows what acts therein, sits now in its dishevled and abandoned state, its suitors long cascaded down the proverbial toilet.

David.

I love this. the complete death of it all.

You know, in my own little world of imagination, I have a tendency to imagine the "back story" of how this motel lost its custom.

You see... they only had a SWIM POOL... and not a SWIMMING POOL.

who wants to stay at a motel where you only get one swim in the pool.

then again...I could be wrong.

Dave, after my long absence, you're a sight for sore eyes. You know I love these old signs, and you found a great one and captured it nicely. I like that it says SWIM POOL.

My man, it is so nice to hear from you. I guess you've been a busy boy, as have I. Thanks for taking a look.
