alight 0 Posted January 18, 2010 this is cool. Are they petrified that they don't have enough patrons? Hey, ladies, don't worry, there is a light at the end of the room. Cheers, Micheal Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted January 21, 2010 Who runs this place, Stephen King? I mean, I just can't wrap my mind around the thinking (or non-thinking) that went into producing this scene. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted January 25, 2010 It is a bizzare scene to say the list...the manikins are keeping company to the empty chairs in the busy restaurant... ;-)) you really have an eye for irony, Dave. I hope you are well. Link to comment
Emmanuel Enyinwa 0 Posted January 30, 2010 Haven't visited in a while, but I find your portfolio every bit as relevant as always, chasing that that thingy that makes us Americans. It was a wise man that said that it is best to listen to the wise and the foolish, too. But, then, again, perhaps the wise man overheard it from the fool. What am I getting at? That the true America lies not at Mt Rushmore or the Liberty Bell, but in scenes like these, no matter how quirky or mundane, for true American lives are lived by both the wise, the foolish, the eccentric, in fact, all those who collectively live what we call collectively, "American lives", and their stories are told by American chroniclers and strytellers like you. Keep it up. Link to comment
