usually this kind of scenery is not my cup of vegetable juice, but somehow this one is interesting. Maybe it's because there are surfaces going in many different directions, plus the various textures. This place could very well be the mother of all antiques. Cheers, Micheal

This one's high on my WOW list, it's the kind of place I'd love to shoot and do an HDR on! Yes, I still keep an eye on what you're doing and think of you and Peggy often. Life is good out West, it's just a different location. Places like this will soon be a thing of the past 'cause some developer will tear it down and build condo's. I still see a David Meyer book of street photography in your future, and I'll be in line to buy a copy! I'm ready for another road trip. Come visit sometime.....

Great shot with all the different angles and bric-a-brac somehow coming together to form a distinctive and precariously balanced composition. Love the SALE sign zooming in from the left and balanced, incongruously, by the weather-worn wall on the right which looks like something out of the ruins of Pompeii.

How nice to hear from you. I had begun to think I would never have the pleasure. I'd love to know what you are up to and how things are going.

it's interesting and amusing how the tilted elements seem to talk to each other...the human brain is so fond of associations like this....I like the color mix very much...the sign on the door is so ironic "antique & old stuff"....well I did not expect to find the latest ipud, ipod, ipad, ipid stuff anyway...

Very interesting photograph of "urban decay". These shots of a dead past are very appealing, especially if you can imagine how joyfully the owner felt when this was newly opened and all that must have happenened uptil now! Also your Bio makes great reading....Regards

Thank you so much for the kind words. Yes, it is impossible for me to look at almost any structure and not want to know all that has happened and gone before. Even the old filing cabinet here must have thousands of stories to tell. Yet it remains mute, unwilling to give up anything but the barest of information.
