dianedh 7 Posted December 21, 2009 Here's another of my first shots with my new camera. Wasn't trying to do anything but get a good, sharp picture of my old beagle. How did I do? Suggestions? I'm going to post more of these first shots and would appreciate suggestions. I'm fairly new to digital and it's been quite a few years since I even shot much film. I'd appreciate insights so I can get back into the swing. Thanks for helping! Diane Link to comment
alfbailey 3 Posted December 23, 2009 Well first of all, well done Fred! for being a great model. You have achieved your objective in getting a clear sharp shot, but heres a couple of pointers that might help in the future, you might consider cropping the image so that Fred isn't qiuite so central, and the cloth that is slightly distracting above Freds head, you might want to crop that out too, My only other advice is that if your unsure about camera shake and want to take indoor photo's, or low light scenes etc, for a really sharp shot invest in a tripod. I love the title too! : - ) Seasons Greetings and Best Wishes Alf Link to comment
dianedh 7 Posted December 23, 2009 Alf, Thanks so much for your kind comments about my pooch! He's such a sweetie. After I posted this, I looked at it again and thought about the crop but was more excited about getting some suggestions! Guess you can just call it 'new cameritis'! And congratulations to you- your portfolio is wonderful. I especially liked your landscapes. Merry Christmas to you... Diane Link to comment
