fpessolano 0 Posted November 9, 2009 I have the feeling this is slightly misfocused. Pity, it would have been not just a very nice shot ... but even a memorable one! Congrats! Link to comment

Emmanuel Enyinwa 0 Posted November 10, 2009 Do ALL your pictures have to be violent? Do you ever wonder if the family of this snake might take offense to this snuff film of Uncle Slimey, wrap you up, and then chuck your memory card into the river? Link to comment
birteragland 1 Posted November 10, 2009 One of the best bird shots I have seen in a long time.Great shot Monte. Link to comment
ericgerberphoto 0 Posted November 10, 2009 Very cool shot Monte, great color and I like the tight crop. Link to comment
fpessolano 0 Posted November 10, 2009 So this is a super crop? This explains this feeling of misfocus. Still I like it! Link to comment
knobby6 1 Posted November 10, 2009 Emmanuel, violence is in demand, and I never considered uncle slimy's family, snakes seem so impersonal. Francesco, it may be a little misfocused, but it is cropped to much. Link to comment
jmarcraveau 0 Posted November 11, 2009 Another great and impressive image. Really nice. Regards, Jean-Marc Link to comment

steveshinn 0 Posted November 11, 2009 Yeah! Nice shot. Don't know why somebody said this was... a lizard. Looks like the end of a nice 2ft Gopher Snake. They come in a variety of patterns and colors. Can't figure out why this sky looks almost turquoise here. Your others don't. Too much wine? Link to comment
amalsircar 2 Posted November 15, 2009 WOW! Excellent shot. Superb composition, exposure, light & details. Link to comment
knobby6 1 Posted November 18, 2009 Yes, tore and ate the top part of the snake, then swallowed what you see, about 8 inches or so. Snake was maybe 2 feet. Link to comment
