The new modern version of Hunt's "The Scapegoat",....? Maybe not as good as the masterpiece but a great effort all the same...Splendid idea......Regards

Made me smile! As fast as his little legs can carry him. This reminds me of what life feels like with my 3 year-old in the house. Great color to boot.

Keith....thanks for the visit and the info. I wasn't familiar with that work, but now I am. :-)

Jeff....I hear you loud and clear. I remember those days!

Pam....Good to hear from you, and glad you like this. I still need to get my Oregon pictures loaded, but I can't do it until I get a new computer. Just letting you know that I'll get around to it eventually.

Mike....The play on words was intentional, but perhaps I should have called it "E"Scape Goat. Oh well! Thanks for stopping by.

Warren....I jumped into action quickly when this goat started running. I didn't have time to make any settings on the camera, so I made a split-second decision to intentionally blur it by using a panning motion. I was happy with the way it turned out.....kind of fantasy-like.

Thanks to all of you for your visits and/or ratings.

It is a very interesting result of movement, color and composition . the bright animal reflected movement is strongly felt on the natural earth colors, the different direction if the animal and earth enhances the feeling. I really like the result( looks strong movement of camera as well)

A unique image with a creative slow shutter effect. This one stands out. The motion blur blends many colors into just a few. Well done.

Hi Christal,

After a quick look through your portfolio, this one really grabbed my attention. Great use of a panning blur. That crazy looking yellow dragon lizard also drew me in.
