She reminds me of a childs face surrounded by an old fashioned

bonnet. But only after removing the color.

It's not difficult to tell this a digital shot by the blown highlights. Try to fix it because it is a super macro subject.

I see that because the highlight exceeded the maximum exposure level you reduced the highlight level. All that appears to have done is reduced the contrast. You can't get any detail out of the highlighted areas, so you I think it would be better to just let them be the white-point and embrace their brightness rather than trying to lower it into a muddy gray

Love the subject, crop, tone, dof ... a little blown out in the middle, but still a very attractive shot. 6/6

I've a way to go on learning that what appears fine on my monitor doesn't always appear okay on the highend line. Thanks for being kind and helping with my continuing education. I'm trying to learn the methods and moods I love, while still hoping to please the public.

Shame has no room for progress. Love the macro, i say keep the overblown highlights, and try to add more contrast to the petals... do you have a color version of this?
