contessa 0 Posted August 16, 2005 She reminds me of a childs face surrounded by an old fashioned bonnet. But only after removing the color. Link to comment
john_brewton 0 Posted August 16, 2005 It's not difficult to tell this a digital shot by the blown highlights. Try to fix it because it is a super macro subject. Link to comment
dan_snyder 0 Posted August 16, 2005 I see that because the highlight exceeded the maximum exposure level you reduced the highlight level. All that appears to have done is reduced the contrast. You can't get any detail out of the highlighted areas, so you I think it would be better to just let them be the white-point and embrace their brightness rather than trying to lower it into a muddy gray Link to comment
db1664878771 0 Posted August 16, 2005 Love the subject, crop, tone, dof ... a little blown out in the middle, but still a very attractive shot. 6/6 Link to comment
contessa 0 Posted August 17, 2005 I've a way to go on learning that what appears fine on my monitor doesn't always appear okay on the highend line. Thanks for being kind and helping with my continuing education. I'm trying to learn the methods and moods I love, while still hoping to please the public. Other honest comments and assistance still welcome. Blessings for the inspiration. I was going to come back and delete it in shame, but now I think I'll leave it up and learn more by keeping by chin up :) Link to comment
albertzablit 0 Posted September 10, 2005 Shame has no room for progress. Love the macro, i say keep the overblown highlights, and try to add more contrast to the petals... do you have a color version of this? Yours truly, L.Berto Link to comment
hashim a 0 Posted November 14, 2005 Very nice Charly... I enjoy the toning and detail you've presented here. I like the square format as well. Link to comment
