Red Tailed Hawk

How on earth did you get such a shot? Given the background it looks like you are using about a 300, which means it was a pretty close shot... How did you do it? Enquiring minds wanna know :D

I was able to get within 10-15 feet of the young hawk as it flew from tree to tree. It was not concerned with my presence. I used a Nikon 80-200 at 200 with a D2H.

...Well, great work. I am envious ;-)
