landscapes Montery, right after sunset

I noticed there is quite bit of noise after the fact. Let me know if

the noise added to the picture or ruined the picture.

I think the problem is not the noise. It's the apparent blurriness of the photo. Was the camera handheld? You should try the same picture with a tripod (or placing the camera on the floor) and use low ISO (if you are feared from noise)

I actually did use a tripod. It exposed for over 3 seconds, thus all the waves blurred together. I guess the rock isn't very sharp either, I guess it is kinda windy that day.
