Thank you Don. I have got to go back and spend more time around Grand Junction. There are some fascinating geological formations there.

There are some interesting (to me at least) hills and scenery if you take the exit west of Fruita that goes to Rangely...the one that goes over Douglas Pass. Beautiful farmland that changes to rolling dirt hills. I like that drive, but haven't taken any photos of it. Maybe next trip, now that you've given me ideas!
