zachjohnson 0 Posted May 15, 2006 i especially enjoy the contrast in the skins crevaces....very beautiful, stuffed plump of emotion...anything more and it would be an abstract painting...the ciggerette is a fantastic touch, and the tattoo reminds me of a war veteran, or possibly a wanderer from one of Jack Kerouac's novels Link to comment
hazel_billingsley2 0 Posted May 20, 2006 I just love this image! I've seen this a few times & each time I have to stop & view again. What is it about this image that I like? Well, I think the lighting for one. Two - the wrinkles & character of the face & I especially like those twinkling blue eyes! Overall, this image has tones of character. I like the technique you used here. Would you tell us how you did it? Excellent portrait! Link to comment

snapshooter 0 Posted October 4, 2006 Although I think the brightening of the folds in the face, just a bit excessive, this is a superb portrait, and an excellent charachter study. Link to comment
