Will someone please get an ashtray! Looks so real!

First thought this was a Dean Collins shot! 7/7

The lighting and colors are AMAZING!!! What camera/equipment did you use for this? And how did you achieve the lighting?

i especially enjoy the contrast in the skins crevaces....very beautiful, stuffed plump of emotion...anything more and it would be an abstract painting...the ciggerette is a fantastic touch, and the tattoo

reminds me of a war veteran, or possibly a wanderer from one of Jack Kerouac's novels

I just love this image! I've seen this a few times & each time I have to stop & view again. What is it about this image that I like? Well, I think the lighting for one. Two - the wrinkles & character of the face & I especially like those twinkling blue eyes! Overall, this image has tones of character. I like the technique you used here. Would you tell us how you did it? Excellent portrait!

it just takes my breath away just to look him in the eyes

you tell me how a portrait should be as far as 'character in it' goes

Very nice, I really like your portraits, different from the rest, a lot of

emotion and drama in it! Especially the barbie fan!

Amazing portrait! It reminds me some of the "Magic Realism" of Chicago artist Ivan Allbright. Excellent!

Although I think the brightening of the folds in the face, just a bit excessive, this is a superb portrait, and an excellent charachter study.
