denise_gaudreault1 0 Posted July 13, 2006 I find this picture disturbing and sad, it also anger me to see the young men clowning around in this site. Again you capture a slice of the human condition by having a strong constrast between the teens and the horror of that location. denise Link to comment
carsten_ranke 0 Posted September 3, 2006 Just carelessness ? A symbol for oblivion ? For the human condition ? What an unsettling, shaking photograph. Link to comment
k-lys 0 Posted October 2, 2006 I am not sure to share you're opinion... This is a place for thougs and remembrance, of course... But it s a good thing, I think, that life takes its right back... Guilty is not the way... Hope you don t take this as an insult to the memory of the deads... Link to comment
bruno costa 0 Posted October 8, 2006 When I saw this photo my feelings were identical to K - lys's. Living is the best tribute we can pay to the victims. Link to comment
sawicki 0 Posted October 8, 2006 We live and they live - that is a fact, but what they did was not celebrating life. There are many things like that happening there, but it was not a consious and planned action of commemoration. Unfortunatelly I witnessed the whole situation and I just don't think that boys in their 14-16 should play stupid games on rails when hundred tousands people arrived straight to their death. It needs some quiet and thinking. Would you let children play like that on a cementary? Link to comment
domen.colja 0 Posted December 13, 2006 Oh, my God, sad, deeply shaking. Silence on film. p.s.: Thanks for documenting the ever Unsaid, Pawel. Really. Link to comment
juan-de-santa-anna 0 Posted November 25, 2009 If we did not know were these boys were playing we might think it cute... Knowing were they are playing strikes fear into me...as this place should be a reminder... to not let history repeat it's self...juan Link to comment
