Hi Gerald,

I'm also from NY, even though I am in Iowa now for school. Last summer, I spent a whole day in Manhattan shooting pictures. And I took a couple of shots of this guy, "Naked Cowboy" LOL. He was very natural and posed for pictures several times! I think a character like him makes NYC much more fun to live in and to shoot pics! Mines in color but looks good in B&W too. Happy shooting!

I would have taken it from a lower angle, to put him (waist up) between the buildings in the "v" of sky, and waited for that clump of mid-westerners to get out of the frame... t

Being from the south, I've never seen anything like it. The man is creative and original, that's for sure! Now that I am in the pacific northwest I can honestly say, real cowboys don't look like that. Excellent shot! Love the background action. Not too distracting.

This guy is a classic. I have one too - shot it from a moving cab, and that it isn't more blurry, is amazing - particularly as I'm saying, "WTF?" as I depress the shutter...
