rafikrkamel 1 Posted July 22, 2005 Excellent shot with great details, did u use a teleconverter with the nikon 300mm lens, because u seem very close to the bird given that u used only a 300mm lens! Congrats anyhow. Link to comment
jon thornton 0 Posted July 22, 2005 Well done on getting so close. This is a really, really good shot. The sky however, is a tiny bit too red for my liking (perhaps its my monitor). This minor niggle aside, your shot is sharp, detailed, well composed and well light. Great stuff! Link to comment
Link to comment
shawn_rahman 0 Posted September 18, 2006 Monsieur Magnus, Why are you convinced that this is not real and that the insect or cicada is plastic? Also, from just what is presented in the picture, there is no reason for you to suggest that this is definitely a studio creation. Please provide further speculation on why you think this was staged. Although you raise interesting questions, we must give the benefit of the doubt to Mr. Thierry. I think it is a very nice image, but you seem CONVINCED that it is fake. I think that is, at best, a stretch of the imagination. Merci. Link to comment
Link to comment
