Emily in daffodils (cropped)

this is a bad category for this but i couldn't think of anything

else,, portraits... anyway, please feel free to critique.

hi byron, I really like your pictures. the "Emily b/w" folder is beautiful and inspiring but I think here, in this photo, there's something wrong.

Not the crop, not the pose or expression but I think this picture needs more contrast; now it's too..grey for me.

Anyway, your shots are very very interesting :)

thanks, yes I agree that there is something missing, that is why I had postponed posting it. I think it is the sky that seems missing because the method of scanning and everything is the same from one to the next. maybe I will try to see if I can make this with the sky in it. (the reason it got to be cropped is becasue my shadow was in it :).. oops)

maybe you could try to increase contrast using PhotoShop...

I increased the contrast by putting a curves on it (there must not have been one previously).
