We met, we looked at each other, said hi. Then, I politely asked the

permission to take a photo. This is it :-]

Something about the DOF of this photo just grabs me -- it raises a simple photograph to something artistic [note: simple not the same as bad or weak]. Well chosen!

P.S. The colours also look gorgeous, the only thing that doesn't quite work for me is something about the placement of the subject... it seems like tilting upwards or downwards would have given you more scope to play with the relationship between the light sky and the light on the plant.

Thanks a lot Jon for your constructive criticism. I am also aware about posting "simple" pictures here. Simple is opposed to obvious and these days people just notice the obvious. Judging by the 3 rates I already have on this one...

First of all the impressionistic feel caught my eyes. Secondly your poetic words added something

that I dont know what it is.But the meeting between the two of you from the words gives me

a more lively near feeling. Right know my impression is that the flower is on its way to be soaked up in something bad/ eerie.Agree about the placement. Maybe give the flowerlady a shot of light ? Regards. Walter
