Change

A friend of mine from work. A proof 2000 penny. An idea. I View the penny as a spark, one of

many that changed a great many things. I honestly didn't know where to classify this. If

anyone has any better ideas, thank you in advance.

That's the best word for this. The shiny penny really draws your eye and once you get over it, you realize that the hand against the out-of-focus background also has quite a presence. And then your eye wanders back to that penny ... I think this photo works really well. Congratulations!

I like the image so nice job on that. My comment will be focused on your PS skills. I (and this is only a personal preference) think the transitioning point between the color portion and the b&w should be soft...very soft. My monitor is showing me some slightly soft points as well as a few hard area's. Did you use the "blur" tool? Sometimes that colored edge needs to be worked over a few times before it will soften up.

Lovely photo. My eyes wonder from the coin over the lines of the hand and back to the coin. Nicely done. Regards, Uwe.

Isaac I saw what you were talking about when I saw it on a different monitor. I had a different version of this that doesn't have that issue. I will post a retouch asap :-) Thanks for the comments from Gordon and Uwe too !
