dave_holland 0 Posted July 13, 2005 This is the Athabasca glacier, part of the Columbia icefield. The white icefall just above the second cone is the 'skyladder' route up Mt Andromeda, one I never had the courage to try. I posted a pic from nearby to this on photo.net. A reviewer criticized how dark my snow was, as yours is here. He didn't realize that dust from the air collects on the glacier and darkens the ice. Interesting composition. Link to comment
