billfoster 0 Posted July 13, 2005 Skyline of Hong Kong Island taken with a tripod and a 10 sec exposure from Kowloon across Hong Kong Bay. All the buildings display like this for about twenty minutes each night. Link to comment
billfoster 0 Posted July 13, 2005 Thanks. That's what I was hoping for but it's not really. The print is far too grainy because of all the fog. It looks ok on screen though. Unfortunately, I was only there four days and it rained like crazy the whole time. It must be a beautiful place when the weather is good! Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted August 3, 2005 The fog probably helped illuminate the beams of light. From that point of view, you were quite lucky. I have been coming to Hong Kong for 15 years and never saw a laser show like this. Strangely I don't like crowds. The colour you have captured on the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre is rather wonderful. The best time to photograph the skyline is after rain before the pollution has a chance to build again. Colourful shot. I like it! Link to comment
henrimanguy 0 Posted September 8, 2005 Superb panorama. The fog gives to it a softness that I do not detest. Link to comment
