Well panned, great sharpness and good exposure, but.....for me the bike is too close to the left edge of the image. I assume this was because there was another bike close in front. I would also have cloned out the little bit of said bike you can still see in the bottom left corner as well as getting rid of the big spots caused by dirt on your sensor. Before doing anything with your images it is well worth spending a couple of minutes checking them over for just such faults. Just because it's a digital camera doesn't mean the image comes out perfect. Regards - Paul chilton

I don't mind the close crop as such because the angle of the shot makes it work quite well. However, I do agree that this image is spoilt by not checking for dust specks before posting the image - it is distracting and is the first thing that you notice about this photograph. Digital imaging means that you have complete control over image appearance and presentation, so any sloppiness in your approach reflects badly on your work.

I have to admit, it was late and I wanted to post so I didn't spend as much time as I should have cleaning up the picture. I've updated a better picture without the splotch and without the red corner in the bottom left... Thanks for the feedback!

I wouldn't lean to dirt on the sensor. Although is possible. I'm no pro. at all, but the majority of images I shoot are racing. To me, it's a matter of constantly cleaning your lens or lenses(filters) because of tire constantly chunking. Only my opinion.

Very good images at this difficulty of racing!
