Parvin bhai! Shabaash. I have been waiting to see some new portrait work from you for some time and that too with Nitu. I like your decision to use some grain. Very emotive portrait with the tears (or simulated tears). Although part of me wishes that the hair didn't appear on her forehead, I don't see it as a problem.

 

I like the close crop as well. However, a suggested alternative would also to shoot it from further back so that we can include her hands.

 

In any event great work.

I'm no expert (not even a novice really) on technical issues around photography, I just know what I like, and I like this very much. A perfect title for it too as you have captured the emotion well. Thanks for sharing.

I see more anger in this image, the tears are almost .. unreal .

 

May be it is the emotions in her face

either ways nice image .. dark shadows !

 

where there is sorrow,there is anger,and the tears were very real.you use the word shadows almost as if it's a dirty word.what is photography if not the play between light and shadows?you seem a little too eager to critisize rather than understand the craft right now.

i think i was understood out of context..

 

i dint mean shadows to mean dirty or anything else.. and beautiful things are often unreal.
