atkphotoworks 0 Posted July 2, 2005 Nice work with the horizontal lines in the water Alec. I like the balance with the crane on the bottom left with the tree/branch/wood on the top right. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted July 2, 2005 Very aesthetic image Alec, beautifuly composed and executed. Pnina Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted July 2, 2005 Thank Amar, Pnina, at 800mm the camera shake is unbelivable! Even with a good tripod just looking into the VF you can see the slightest movement blowing because of the wind. I respect wildlife photographers for their pains and effort to bring out the best and sharpest images in the wild. Link to comment
jvophotography 0 Posted July 2, 2005 I'm on a dark monitor which makes this difficult but I can tell this is a stunning shot Alec. This is awesome. Very asthetically pleasing. Great job and excellent balance. Link to comment
paula grenside 0 Posted July 3, 2005 Beautiful shot, Alec. There is a natural geometry in nature that you captured perfectly. Link to comment
amalsircar 2 Posted July 3, 2005 Excellent composition,Alec. I love the contrast of white bird with dark lines on the water. Link to comment
cherlyn 1 Posted July 3, 2005 Simple & nice, esp the water surface & the only white colour of the crane stands out very well. Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted July 4, 2005 Joe, Paula, Sircar, Jim, thanks for visiting. Cherlyn, unfortunate Chips didn't make a Sunday outing yesterday. This was taken in JB coastal waters. Lot's of wild life there. Link to comment

alecee 0 Posted July 4, 2005 Thanks Frank. Actually I thought of posting this other shot but felt with the overhanging poles it look better. But the reflection here sure is cool! Better? Link to comment
Bilal Zaheer 0 Posted July 8, 2005 hey Alec the one without the sticks is definitely nicer. the reflection really is cool! and absense of any other elemeant with a wavey canvas makes it interesting too. Link to comment
