maurik 0 Posted June 30, 2005 Hmmm, another excellent one of your photos so soon in the Rate Recent queue. I think I prefer the B&W photo. The sun glasses work less well here and I would prefer the photo without. The eyes are captured very well though and the background adds very nicely in this photo. Beautiful protrait. Link to comment
ken_thalheimer 3,739 Posted June 30, 2005 I think the glasses are OK. They add a touch of casual. I prefer the color over the B&W as I like the splash of red from the dress top Link to comment
kristen riley 0 Posted June 30, 2005 Thanks for the comments. In hindsight I would ask her to remove the glasses. She was swimming in the back yard with my son and took his glasses and put them on her head. They aren't even girls glasses. She is just so pretty that she can get by with it, LOL. Thanks again to you all. Link to comment
vicki_wilcox 0 Posted July 4, 2005 This pic. leaves me with the desire to see the progression from her youth to a young woman and beyond!!! The eyes have it here. 7/6 Link to comment
bgelfand 1,260 Posted July 5, 2005 A beautiful informal portrait - color, composition, focus, and expression. Link to comment
warren williams 0 Posted July 12, 2005 Kristen, this is very nice indeed. She also appears very relaxed in front of the camera which helps. I would be very interested to see how this would turn out with a b&w high-key effect. Nice work! Warren Link to comment
kristen riley 0 Posted July 12, 2005 Thanks Warren. I use PS elements. What technique do you use for converting to high key? I appreciate your input. Link to comment
