Using window light from behind, at 45 degrees... placed computer on foamcore, and use a mousepad to raise it (exagerrating drop shadow)... this was my attempt at a straight forward product shot. **the flare on the screen is part of the graphic, not from a light source**Let me know what you think,Kevincarter.photo@gmail.com

just a clean shot using only window light, and a piece of foamcore as

a background... flare on screen is part of graphic, not lens flare...

I like the tonalityof the subject. The isolated color screen works very well. The closeness to the frame right and bottom just throws the image out of balance a bit for me. I needs a bit more room to breath.

 

I might also suggest a little more screen angle (angled to the lens) so the viewing can connect with the screen a bit more.

 

The lighting is just great. Thanks for the word about the flare, I was going to mention it until I read your explanation... Nice image... Dave
