Shot at St. John's Market, Liverpool

I took this image because it startled me, or rather shocked me. I love

animals and earlier this year I held my dog as she was put to sleep.

This image somehow recalls my last memory of Bonnie my dog lying dead

on a stainless steel table.

it's a wonderful shot, certainly 'a photograph'. I like the serene expression, ears flailing, in contrast to the grubby butchers behind.
