aneely 0 Posted June 21, 2005 Excellent composition! Framing with the leaves works very well. Excellent use of DOF and very nice lighting. The red lipstick and dress really help the model to stand out. Link to comment

usman jamshed - pakistan 0 Posted June 22, 2005 hey good shot, excellent colors. model, her dress and facial expressions very nicely exposed. wahh! Link to comment
bento 0 Posted June 22, 2005 while the other factors are also OK, the most interesting aspect of this photo is the emotion that you have successfuly captured. The model seem to really enjoy the feeling. 1 suggestion is only about the crop, it don't really suggest if it's her upper hand. Either you don't crop the hand, or you don't include the upper hand in the picture (IMHO). But because the real strength of this picture lays on the expression, the crop thing is only minor. forgive my english, I hope u know what i mean. Link to comment
donsorsa 4 Posted June 22, 2005 Like the others have said, very nice. This really pops. Link to comment
robertbrown 1 Posted June 22, 2005 This is a very interesting, sensual photo (love the greens and reds), though, as you well know, some of the highlights are blown way out. I like this quite a bit--expression and colors out weigh the technical shortcomings. Link to comment
atkphotoworks 0 Posted June 22, 2005 Thanks Alex, David, Usman, Ben, Pnina, Don and Robert for your comments. Ben, don;t worry about your English. I am glad that you are expressing your thoughts. I don't think I would want the hand cropped out, on the other hand...I kind of like that some of it is in even if blurred. The main focus as you'v noted is the emotion. Robert, certain portion are blown out. Maybe a bit much but I think suitable to theme. Thanks again for all your comments. Link to comment
thomas_collins1 0 Posted June 23, 2005 Very nice Amar. This one caught my attention for the peek-a-boo look with the lovely frame of leaves. Nicely done! Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted June 23, 2005 Amar, you have created a very sensuous feel to this. The leaves add to the idea of concealment and make the shot more about her thoughts and feelings. If they were not there it would be a completely different photo. Link to comment
atkphotoworks 0 Posted June 23, 2005 Thanks Colin, I agree with you, I think the environment really adds to the image rather than without it. Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted June 24, 2005 A bit late Amar, but I like your new portrait shots. Keep on shooting. ^_^ Link to comment
atkphotoworks 0 Posted June 24, 2005 It's never too late to weigh in Alec. Thanks for taking the time. I'm glad you like the new series. More to come... Link to comment
35mmbluz 0 Posted June 24, 2005 The colors, expression and framing are all wonderful! Some highlights ARE blown out, but I don't think it's enough to distract from the sensuousness of the photo. Link to comment
JamieK 1 Posted June 24, 2005 The link between the very similar reds in the lips and the dress is really compelling, and it is intensified by the contrast with the luminous greens. Link to comment
paula grenside 0 Posted June 24, 2005 Amar, another very good portrait. I love the strong contrast, the light and shadows that enhance the beautiful face and expression. You've captured her feelings. Link to comment
