kudlanka 0 Posted June 18, 2005 I'm not sure if this is "chocholate-box art" or not... So what do you think...is it kitsch? :) Link to comment
rick_muller1 0 Posted June 18, 2005 I like it as well. This is IR, right? I think that gives it a surreal effect. In particular, I think that the dark clouds above keep the picture from feeling kitchy. Link to comment

j_m_lee_photography 0 Posted June 18, 2005 I hope this is not PhotoShop. It's so beautiful and got it own unique. I just love it. Link to comment
christian deichert 1 Posted June 18, 2005 Outstanding use of near-IR. The tonal range is excellent, the composition works very well, and the overall product is almost dreamlike. I really enjoy this shot. Link to comment
kudlanka 0 Posted June 18, 2005 No this is not photoshop:) It's Maco820c IR film and very special lightning conditions. There going to be weather change and very thin layer of clouds covers the sun. There are still shadows in scene but harshness of IR light is gone. On big prints (30x45cm) I'm darkening the sky to make tiny little clouds more vivid. So now I can live with this shot in piece:)) My friends say that is ok, but sometimes I'm in doubt if isn't more sweet than surreal. Its SURREAL ivy thing, hey hey :)) Link to comment
