jim kerr 0 Posted June 16, 2005 Kevin, thanks for responding. I would love to get a digital that will do IR....I must tell you that Bill and his wife were quit extraordinary. Bill was a life member of National Geographic since the 50s,and Mrs. Merriwether made some of the best buiscuts and gravy I've ever ate. Straight across the road you might see an elderly gentleman in bib overalls, just looks like any other farmer, but he is a science professor at Western Kentucky University. How do I know this-my grand parents lived just a hundred yards down the road....Jim Link to comment
raddatzphoto 0 Posted June 17, 2005 There is something romantic and appealing to me, about living this way. Link to comment
jim kerr 0 Posted June 17, 2005 Mike, you have a great perception. Back when this was taken,my reason for doing so, wasn't to make these people look messy, they were far from it. Their throttle is just at a different setting than those who live in big cities. These folks were smart enough to not to be overly influenced by petty materialism....And now I shall get off my soapbox....Jim Link to comment
