Perhaps moving the balloon up the frame slightly and / or a tighter crop on the bottom to clowe to the feet feels better. Great image though - thank you

 

Also the trailing black off the chair on the floor - without this the image may have more impact, but then again its your picture...

Olga, I am sorry I have commented this photograph under the wrong 'author'. I had written: 'ingenious'. BTW I went back to your indivitual folders and I have enjoyed your photographs once more with the same intensity. You are a great artist.

 

Now, I have a problem because this item appears to have been submitted the 11 June 2005 whereas Ygan's first version was submitted 9 June 2005. I must admit, this doesn't prove who has stollen the photograph from whom. Could you please explain? I do believe the photograph is yours because in one of Ygan's versions I can see traces of your signature

I like the idea very much!

This is executed, like most of your work, with the meticulous placement of a Dutch painting. This one, perhaps because it contains a human figure and the title exposes such depth, is a direction I would love to see you head more. The placement of the string is ingenious, just as the fabric and the posture. The color is so pleasant and subtle. I can imagine this in a world-class museum, possibly from the fifties, possibly now. I wonder if such a construction could occur with a modern backdrop. You might like going outside more; I don't know enough about you to say one way or the other. But there is something I like about the potential for your meticulous work to face the desultory exterior. Just a thought.
