delp 0 Posted June 8, 2005 Mont Blanc du Tacul (4248m) viewed from Aiguille du Midi (3842m). I have not manipulated this image; just spent more time when scanning to achieve acceptable result. Tell me what you think ! Link to comment

delp 0 Posted June 8, 2005 Sondra, Tammy, a great pleasure to hear from you. True it's been a long time since I last posted here. Thank you both for your comments. Sondra, the sky was really incredible that day. We never saw the Mt Blanc -what we came to see originally- but the 360 degrees landscape is purely breathtaking. Tammy, if you'd like to figure out a bit better about the place, you should check this out ! Also, how this peak look like from the valley, at almost 2000m below the summit ... Link to comment

salvatore.mele 1 Posted July 11, 2005 I love this place...it was my first 4000m!The effect of the clouds which only leave black streaks of sky and their shadows which only leave white streak of snow is great! You might consider cropping a bit off the right, so that you do not see the down-going slope of the Gouter, but just the Dome itself. Now, if you change the image hanging at home, you've to change target, and -next time- walk from the Aig. du Midi to the top of the Tacul...it's not so difficult, after all, provided a guide and enough motivation! v 0 Posted August 16, 2007 .... all these months and years later, I can tell: I have seen it with my own eyes. And YES, it IS an amazing place. and your capture is beautiful. The day we were there, there was no cloud over this mountain; it was just clear blue skies. Impressive, too. Link to comment
