Reflections

Taken at the Batu Caves in Kuala Lumpur. The reflections in the eyes are of the steps that lead up to the temple in the caves at the top.

I also love the expression... A look of uncertainty, but at the same time a feeling of safety, having a parent near by.

Just excellent. Impressive expression. Love, protection, anxiety; fellings that we know shared across the species spectrum. Brilliant texture, interesting reflection. I mean it is hard to say anything negative for me - all the elements have combined as they should have and that is just beautiful.

Personally I think the focal point of the photo are the eyes and these totally detract from the cropped hand - I'm happy with the cropping. To be honest, it had to be cropped somewhere anyway so where would you suggest Paulo?

Great shot. I'd like to know more about the sharpness in this shot, is it the eyes that make the whole shot seem sharp or is it something else? 1-400mm zoom lenses generally aren't known for their sharpness either are they? Have you done anything special or is it just "standard" autofocus/post sharpening?
