Great effect and composition, striking image !!!

Very nice work. I would like to see what the original image looked like, probably very dull in comparison. On first glance I thought that the sky was over done (too cluttered) but the darkness of the trees on the horizon provides a nice center to pull the whole image together. I like that there are enough patterns to allow the eyes to "play" in the picture. The sky reminds me of a certain flavour of ice cream, something with bands of chocolate and caramel. Once again, very nice work.

I really like this Colin. Those ridges in the clouds look like the edge of some massive cliff face. I'm sure Michael is right... It probably does only work in sepia.

I just looked through your other pictures and found the colour version, which I assume was taken at about the same time. That's lovely too.
