davidmccracken 2 Posted May 27, 2005 I feel some will find this slightly serious and others will find it amusing. Feedback appreciated. Link to comment
markboyer 0 Posted May 27, 2005 How could it be serious? I could untie that knot with my teeth in no time. But it is up to your usual high standards, David, and I love it. Link to comment
John Peri 1,029 Posted May 27, 2005 Not as much concern as usual with technical details. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted May 27, 2005 From an editorial perspective, I believe that I made a similar statement in a newspaper this morning.Photographically, I wonder if white rope tends to blow out because of the brightness. Sailing line comes in many different colors and might be worth experimenting with. Link to comment
owen_omeara 1 Posted May 28, 2005 I like this a great deal. A tad more saturation and, or, contrast might help IMHO. I think it is another in the long story of the incredible imagination and sense of humor of David McCracken What is Knicki pondering? -Owen Link to comment
eimages 0 Posted May 28, 2005 I like Mark's idea of using his teeth. It would be an enjoyable adventure, I hope. Like the idea, but the be a more serious knot...one of those mean looking intricate sailor's knot.... Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted May 28, 2005 Mark, Contraception is a serious issue. However, amusement was in my mind when I took this. John, A little hard with the comment about technique I think but I did think this was artistic. Keith, I have read your editorial..... which brings me back to the request for critique. Knicki, Do get back to me when you have finished pondering... Patrick, Scissors are not suplied. Owen, I try! I do try. Alex, The awful knot was deliberate. Maybe I will explain when I tackle this subject again. I have an idea and I am sure to take it. Thanks everyone. Link to comment
John Peri 1,029 Posted May 28, 2005 I just meant some rare patches that appear to be burned out on the rope. Actually, I have had that problem sometimes when increasing the contrast in order upload, whereas the original or "real" picture was just fine. Link to comment
thomas_collins1 0 Posted May 30, 2005 David, I hate to say this, but I see the utter failing of your technical application towards this image. After all, you don't know the first thing about tying knots. Your a knotty boy, aren't you?! :-) LOL! And you stole my idea on top of it! LOL!! I think we need a picture of you being spanked by one of your models. I think I'm going to roll over and die laughing on the floor now. Seriously, you did a good job on this! Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted May 31, 2005 the retinas of my mind's eye have just been burnt from the thought of Thomas shooting David being spanked by his model(s). I have still been pondering- I like the shot. Again, I find myself bummed I didnt think of the idea. It is nice to know that some men (at least one so far) think about contraception and just dont leave it up to the female. Knicki Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted June 1, 2005 Thomas, I think I might like to borrow one of your models to spank my botty. I have left a comment on the appropriate picture. I hope your model agrees..... can only ask! Knicki, If I ever do take a photo of myself being spanked, I will warn you before posting it. I wouldn't want to harm your eyes. Contraception is a serious issue but I did like the challenge of dealing with it in a funny way. Thank you both. Link to comment

peter bernik 0 Posted October 6, 2005 ...you have;). I really enjoy watching your photos, so fresh and original. And they often have a strong message. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted October 7, 2005 Thanks again. I am a little crazy I guess. I guess the idea is to make people wonder if I am being serious or not. I will make no comment on that. Thanks for stopping by though. Your comments are very much welcome and appreciated. Link to comment
george_enache 0 Posted February 23, 2006 actually i love this shot alot. Little adjustment in photoshop would have made it perfect. A humble advice would be to try it in black and white as well because of the strong "white" (the pure guardian) keeping the sinning yummy "black" caged :) Now, David I like your choice of models ;), may I ask details via email, regarding your work? thanks, George Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted February 23, 2006 Enache, Thanks for the honest critique and suggestions. Sure! Ask me anything in an email. I will try to answer you. Link to comment
