Death of a crayon, I love it.

I personally don't see how this shot could pull a 3. No, it's not the most beautiful photograph ever...but I've seen much worse, IMO.

Clever idea

I can see the influence of Dave N. here. I like the idea. The lighting is not working for me though & I am still at odds over the soft dreamy look. I would like to see this done sharper and with subtle changes to the lighting.

Ah...Dave Nitsche was definitely an inspiration. I'm glad you saw that. However, I have no where near the equipment nor the talent he does...so I'm far from being at his level.

 

I'll take the lighting into consideration, as well as the sharpness. Thank you for the constructive comments.
