bentes_world 0 Posted May 18, 2005 I wish there were some sheep or cows but there were not .... any comments very welcome. Link to comment
mcgarity 0 Posted May 18, 2005 Its quite an attractive pastoral scene. The rolling hills make for interesting lines, shapes, and curves. Its well composed. It also has great color saturation and contrast. Very nice work. 6/6 Link to comment

v 0 Posted May 20, 2005 Good work with light and shapes, high quality work. Nevermind that the sheep are not here, that is another shot all together if they are in. Link to comment
abintraphoto 0 Posted May 28, 2005 Well sheep and cows ain't the worst thing you can do either ..... and there are other options. Ants are a BIG problem in Texas - do you have ants there ? Beautiful place Bente - is it far from where you live ? Link to comment

bentes_world 0 Posted May 29, 2005 to say thanks for all the comments here....so: In Denmark we don't have mountains. The highest spot is about 178 meters ... smile .... but the Danes don't suffer from that. One of the highest hills is even named 'The Heaven Mountain'. This photo is not from 'The Heaven Mountain' but just some lovely hills ... and in Danish terms this is a dramatic landscape. The photo here is cropped from a bigger photo which I don't think will look good here on PN. Many details will get lost. It's shot in low sun and handheld ... who can carry a tripod in the mountains...ha. Larry ... thanks for stopping by. Happy you like the picture. About the colors I can tell they are right out of the camera. Thomas ... thanks for taking time to comment. Bartek B... thanks. Always pleasing when people leave a comment. Michael ... thank you. Nova .... yes, I agree something is missing. A bird? I thought it was some sheep. Thanks for stopping by. ViP ... thank you for your kind words .... and I guess you are right... have to do some other shots to get sheep. Smile. Jan Oluf ... thank you. Cantone ... I have to learn italian ... but as far as I can understand I think you are very generous in your comment. Thanks for that. Ken ... ha ... I know I left a comment like that in another place ...'ain't the worst thing you can do'. Yes ... actually it's a nice place for a picnic ... sheep, cows, Texas bulls or not... or not to speak of ants. Last year all my money went to ant poison, so yes ... the ants are a problem too here. Best thing I can say about my ants: I don't think they are as huge as the Texas ants and they don't have big horns too? This place is about 45 minutes drive ... in car....from my place. From my last trip before I had to sell my car ..... sigh.... Thanks for stopping by. Always a pleasure to see your funny pics following your comments. Hey ants .... bring back that bottle!!!!!! Roger ... I have some of your landscapes from OZ in mind. They looked so great. Thanks for commenting and liking my place too. It's so small and humble compared to what you are used to. yatty 0 Posted September 2, 2008 I've been reading this site for a little while now, and only just bought my first slr a few days ago.. As soon as I read that this is a photo of Denmark..I just had to comment.. I've never seen Denmark look so good..hehe..I lived there for nearly 6 years as well in a town called Horsens.. Where exactly was this taken? Sorry about my bad danish! I barely write or talk it anymore now that I'm back in Australia :-( Link to comment
