Now this is interesting. The place is Pontiac Mills, so obviously it is a real place. But the overall look of the image makes me think of a deserted movie set...waiting for the actors and cameramen to arrive. Where was the light coming from...what was the light source, if I may ask.

 

I like this a lot.

The light was coming from behind the "black box" on the left, above the door. There is also a flood light behind and above the camera

 

(BTW the "black box" had more shadow detail in the original print).

before you start calling other people's photographs "horrible" take a look at your own, are these two the best photgraohs you have? Because if so, I am afraid to say that you are indeed captivated by boring images
