This photo was the result of some cups of coffee.

I am unsure if the overall performance of this photo might have

become more balanced if I had used a flashligt to lighten up the

right person.

Thank you for your comments,

Axel

i find this image very nice! and i don't think the flash you are talking about would have made it better. this way it has a very good atmosphere!

i like it!

Hello Axel,

You have created a very atmospheric and powerful photo - fumes and the waitress, the bright sunshine and the lonely chairs on the left - that all makes me feel i am there, sitting and enjoying the morning or evening (sorry, could not tell that) coffee.

I tried to find something for improvements, but... couldn't, sorry. There was just a single thought finally I came up with- probably lowering the camera and including more of the incoming light on the left would make something more powerful, but i doubt and ... well, really fascinating.

Okay, going to make coffee!

It is hard to say what the flash would have produced, but I agree with the rest (so far), light atmosphere, moment ... it is all there and you can feel it. Additionally, the something in the forefront, the black something in the right corner I mean, gives it a bit of pleasant tension (expectation, shiver, what is it?), a bit of the beauty and the beast mood.

I am coming back, the photo is very pleasant to have a look at. I have now noticed how nicely the smoke connects everything together. The mood is simply excellent.

About the flash, I am now sure it would have killed the photo.

I am back, after more that two years since I left my last comment here. I want to say this is one of my most, most favourites photos. I like just everything on this picture and the more I look at it the more I like it. Best regards and Merry Christmas. Mj.
