Constructive comments appreciated. I would like the sky to have more impact. Seems washed out to me.

ahh yes, pyramid lake - a great spot in deed. i like the fact that you got nice and low for this shot. here are a few suggestions: good use of the rock/reed foreground, but i might have even emphasized them a bit more by placing them in a more central position; use a polarizing filter - this would darken the sky a bit, make the clouds 'pop' out more and help you control the glare off the water; graduated neutral density filters work magic at eliminating washed out skies - i don't think it's a real issue here, but they're great for landscape work in general. hope this helps.

What was the original media for this, film or digital? If digital, you might be able to play around with the levels a bit and create the appearance of more contrast in the sky. If film, you're better off; you could have a good scan made and probably recover a little more detail from the highlights.

Lovely peaceful scene. I like the symmetry, the calm and the way the rock at the fore right gives it balance and perspective.
