Sweet Woodruff with Leaf B&W

I would like your thoughts on this B&W conversion.

The conversion doesn't do it for me. You's have great contrast btwn the leaf and the (assuming they are green) little plant things. Also, are the little plant things blooming? You lost the flowers.

I really like this shot and think the flowers stand out enough on their own, just by being bright. Composition is unusual, I would normally expect the leaf to be closer to the centre of the frame, but it wortks well where you've chosen to place it. Shows careful (or lucky!) exposure, aswell. Nice work.
