Guest Guest Posted April 21, 2005 The Boat... Resting there, in same place, the last fifty days and nights... Having the wind in it's wet body, breathing the parfume of "Thessaloniki" town, the wife of "Thermaikos" gulf as they call it. Awating your words, feelings, comments. Michael Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted April 21, 2005 Magnificent and moody enough. I loved the sky even more than the sea ! Good job Michael. Link to comment
j_m_lee_photography 0 Posted April 21, 2005 It's moody enough that I wish to find a place to sit down and listen to the waves. Link to comment

jannis 0 Posted April 24, 2005 a like the hard contrast very much, also the atmosphere is very nice personally I would have preferred another foreground or another composition....this foreground is imho a bit too dominating Nevertheless a nice picture! Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted April 25, 2005 Thank you all for your time on this image and the comments you made. What makes me love the art of photography is that it makes you see the world with new eyes. I live in that town for 35 years and I had passed from this place millions of times. Before I meet photography these metalic rails and this part of sea was "invisible" to my eyes. Now... I captured a moment that I look at it, like through a magic calidoscope, and I see that if you let your senses free and if you give love, if you pay attention to the nature, all of these will be rewarded with a beautiful shoot just like this. I want to thank once more the Photo.net world, for giving to me this ability... Link to comment
amanda_griffin1 0 Posted April 28, 2005 Michael, your use of colors and composition throughout your portfolio is wonderful. I agree with others, it is hard to believe that you are only just venturing into photography. You obviously have a natural eye for beauty. Keep up the good work! And I'm jealous... I want so much to get back to Greece! Thank you for sharing such wonderful views of where I wish I were! :-) ~Amanda Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted June 28, 2005 It is what attracted my eye to this shot in particular...This is the type of place I would love to sit and just regard the ocean, smell it's brine and watch the boat bobbing up and down in the waves. You have such a wonderful eye, Michael - thanks for sharing it and your words with all of us. Regards, Lee Link to comment
