I love the idea, but I would cut off some of the top (close to the model's head), some of the left-hand side (close to the drawer margins), and even a bit of the right side (remove the cupboard in the background). All this in order to get rid of the clutter that takes attention away from the model & the chair in the foreground...

A bit cluttered, which can be distracting. The perspective of the shot, and even the model pose creates lines which draw the attention to the top right of the photo.

Clutter-ness and other mentioned elements are part of the style which is a rather modern approach to environmental fashion portrait as the rest of series is as well (posted).

From smoke detector to CDs on the counter, everything were observed before the shot yet try to create a candid feel to the final result.

The composition is designed to draw attention towards eyes, while eyes of viewer are wondering on the other elements and go back there to see more. This is not a relaxing image and a tense dynamic is part of the plan.

In this way the environment is a dramatic element as well as having a compositional effect and a story to tell.

Thank you for the notes and best of luck.

I don't think it's cluttered at all, it's obviously intentional, all the crap there LOL! I think this is a wonderful photo. The boots add a tremendous amount of weight to the bottom, which just adds lightness (as should be?) to the model's upper body/face.

Great!

The pillows on the chair aren't cluttered enough. As a matter of fact, the chair seems misplaced, too -- it's neither grungy enough, nor elegant enough to provide any contrast in the image... and it also seems... wait... I see... you placed the chair without the model, then framed the shot to make it the subject (like Van Gogh's famous chair-shot, maybe)... then you trotted the beauty in. If it's gotta be the decoy subject, then I'd try a different chair. :)
