mark_howells2 0 Posted April 13, 2005 This is a great shot of Durdle Dor. I have tried to photograph it several times, but this is one of the best ones that I have ever seen. Well done. Link to comment
salvatore.mele 1 Posted April 14, 2005 I like the careful way with which you've composed this and in particular the rock (?) in the bay which sits on the diagonal initiated by the arch and competed by the right-hand-side cape. This makes for a strong diagonal line, below the strong horizontal line of the horizon... and nicely complements the stong curved lines of the shore. If I were to change something, I might want slightly more water above the arch, before the island: why did you chose the present amount? Link to comment
adamburton 0 Posted April 14, 2005 Thanks for your comment Salvatore. To answer your question, the ISO was 100, and exposure 1.6 sec @ F22. Link to comment
salvatore.mele 1 Posted April 15, 2005 1.6sec... thanks for the info. This is actually interesting. You got some sharp texture in the sea and, at the same time, the right amount of foam on the beach and a well marked wave which is going to come to the lower part of the beach. I had indeed hard time to figure out the exact speed. I would have thought faster from the texture in the centre of the bay, or lower from the foam. Link to comment
