melody1 0 Posted April 15, 2005 Having a friend as beautiful and willing to pose as Heather is makes her portraits easier than most. I would appreciate comments. Does this composition work? Does the angle add to this shot, or take away? Please, feedback is more useful than numbers, but if you don't have the tim to make an effort with a comment, a rating with help as well. pjmeade 12 Posted April 16, 2005 Hello Melody. I like this on two levels, the composition tones and lighting are excellent. Heather is beautiful as you say, so it's a lovely portrait, but that one clear eye is staring and so is a little discomforting. I half thought it would be better softened but no, that quality makes the portrait, it adds an edge, a kind of visual pararhyme. Very well done. Link to comment
inmymind 0 Posted April 19, 2005 Yeah, I think this works. I?d like to see her in a ?normal? angle (to compare). I think this is just a raw and unposed pose, which works nicely for me. The light and the grain work well here..nice! Link to comment
